As part of its committed effort of seeing to the welfare of our former heroes and players of the club, the United States Circle 001 has donated a cash amount of GHC 3,270 through the NCC to Yaw Sam, former player of Kotoko.
The group which is the latest inductee of The National Circles Council has already made similar donations to Kofi Abbrey and Dogo Moro.
Making the presentation to the ex-midfielder, was the 1st Vice Chairman of the NCC, Nana Kwame Dankwah in the company of Kojo Asante, protocol officer of the NCC.
The NCC, in addition, presented the club’s white replica jersey and a cap to the former beast in the heart of midfield.
The 76-year old was full of gratitude to the Circles Council, especially to Circle 001 for having his welfare and that of other ex-footballers in mind.
